This is a neighborhood called Bankhead. It is located in the west downtown,very close to our campus. I heard of this neighborhood from a stranger when i went to Engineer Bookstore. A man told me not to go to the southwest from our campus. He said it's a dangerous neighborhood. Some of my friends told me that there are drug dealers and prostitutes hanging around there. According to statistics from a website, this neighborhood has much more crimes than average American neighborhoods. I'm interested in Bankhead neighborhood because of some famous rappers like T.I. People in this neighborhood are almost African Americans. It's home to some rappers. T.I. was raised in this neighborhood and used to be a drug dealer. Obviously, Bankhead is not a good neighborhood for most people.
